January 2008 Training of New Washington-Flyer Drivers

During our training session, we were honored to have a surprise visit from Dr. Ray Mundy.  Dr. Mundy is the Executive Director for the Airport Ground Transportation Association (AGTA) as well as a Professor with the University of Missouri. The center picture features Dr. Mundy and to his right is Mr.Farouq Massoud, President/CEO of DAT, inc. The picture to the right features Dr. Mundy referring a question the DAT Operations Manager, James Shaeffer.

Pictured below is the General Manager, Jeff Fisher on stage welcoming the drivers.  The center picture shows a driver responding to Mr. Fisher's question of why the driver wanted to come to work with DAT.  The picture on the right shows drivers taking a written exam to qualify as a DAT-Flyer driver.

Improved DAT offices at IAD

Starting from left to right, Mr. Massoud DAT President inspecting the final details of construction of the new DAT offices at IAD.  The middle photo is the communications room for reservations and taxicab dispatching.  As you can see we began operations immediately upon installation of the equipment, there was still some "housekeeping" issues being completed. The far right picture is the completed entrance way into the DAT offices.  The bright carpet and beautiful flowers provide a welcoming feel for the drivers and limited visitors we host.
